Kholat  (PC/Mac Game)

November 2014

One of our forum members (Dew) discovered that Sean had been approached to voice another Video Game "Kholat"

The game is based on an actual 1959 event known as the Dyatlov Pass Incident, in which nine climbers died on Russia's Ural Mountains under mysterious circumstances. An investigation by Russian authorities at the time revealed puzzling clues, including high levels of radiation on some of the victims' clothing and skeletal trauma without external injury. Although various theories have been put forth to explain the deaths, the incident has never been fully explained, providing lush ground for speculation and conspiracy theories, including those involving the paranormal.

Kholat is an exploration game with strong elements of horror, inspired by the true story of nine Russian students who died in unexplained circumstances in north of the Ural Mountains on the east shoulder of Kholat Syakhl. The event is widely known as the Dyatlov Pass incident. It will be out in 2015 for both PC and Mac.

Sean Bean portrayed the mysterious Anton – one of four narrators that uncover the following elements of the story. Sean Bean has appeared in the TV show Game of Thrones as well as the James Bond film Goldeneye and of course Lord of the Rings, also did voice work for Elder Scrolls Oblivion a few years back
