Sean had a cameo role in the "Vicar of Dibley" episode "Spring". Geraldine (the vicar, played by Dawn French) is set to marry local councillor and bigwig David Horton. She dreams about the forthcoming wedding, and as she is standing at the altar about to say "I do", Sean appears at the back of the church and calls to her, "No! Don't do it Geraldine! It's me you love, not him". Geraldine turns in amazement, and Sean says "C'mon lass". They run towards each other, Geraldine saying "Save me Sean!". The picture fades out as Geraldine wakes up and realises she can't marry David.
