Cottage? It's Bean flogged

HOLLYWOOD hunk SEAN BEAN stunned a woman selling her two-bed cottage for £149,500 — by buying it for cash.

Owner Antonia Cardwell was told by her estate agents: “Expect a surprise when you find out who’s interested.”

She was amazed to answer the door to the Lord Of The Rings heart-throb and his actress girlfriend Georgina Sutcliffe.

Antonia, who took them for a drink at the next-door pub in Sheffield, said: “He just walked through the door and said, ‘Hi, I’m Sean’.”

Sheffield-born Bean, 48 — star of TV’s Sharpe — already has a £2million London pad.

Antonia said: “He wanted my place for peace and quiet.”
